| Roc-lon blackout blind drapery liners are used at leading hotels worldwide. They are made by Rockland Industries, the world's largest manufacturer of drapery and blackout linings, founded in 1832. Great for blocking the sun, these hotel-grade blackout drapery liners are a serious product for people who want to sleep. Easy to hang, no tools needed. Note: magnetic strip feature of the higher priced TLC model is not available with the Roc-Lon Euro-Premium line.
Blackout
blinds (sometimes called blackout drapery liners) are a powerful way to
prevent disturbing light from entering your bedroom. They can also help
muffle outside noise and provide additional insulation against heat and
cold. For an optimal sleep environment, we also recommend sound conditioners, earplugs and a sleep mask. The item for sale is a white panel measuring 105 inch wide x 80 inches long (Euro-Premium available in 54x60, 54x80, 80x80 and 105x80; TLC available in additional sizes). The product is technically called the Roc-lon Euro-Premium Light Control. The liner hangs from your existing curtain rod using drapery hooks (included). You may need a separate curtain rod if your existing one is very stressed from weight. The Roc-lon blackout blind drapery liners are made of the highest quality materials. This soft fabric 100% blackout lining can be added to your existing draperies in minutes to provide the optimum sleep environment at home. No new rods or tools are needed. The Roc-lon blackout drapery linings provide the following benefits and features: - Creates the perfect environment for sleep, day or night
- Hushes outside noise to a whisper
- Insulates against heat and cold
- Helps pay for itself in energy savings
- Provides extra privacy
- Helps protect your furnishings from sun fading
- 1-1/2" top rod pockets
- Has a 1/4" hem down the sides and bottom (some other less expensive Roc-lon models have no hems! -- see for yourself on the Roc-lon site)
This product is a great investment in your sleep...and your health! To maximize the effectiveness of your liners, try our Roc-lon TLC blackout liners instead. These liners are identical to the Euro Premium except the middle hems have magnetic strips threaded down through them, and these magnets snap together to form a light-blocking seal, maximizing the effectiveness of the blinds. The Euro Premiums are identical otherwise. The TLC liners also come in additional sizes.
What kind of rod do I need? The Euro Premium drapery liners are engineered to hang on either a pole or a traverse rod. The liner has an opening (1 1/4") at the top for a pole rod and a series of loops by which you can hang the drapery with hooks (included) to a traverse rod. What size do I need? Note: Width/length of drapery refers to combined width/length of the drapery you are using to cover the window. For example, if your drapery for one window is 65" wide and 80" long, then you should buy an 80" by 80" liner (which consists of two 40"wide x 80" long panels).
WIDTH OF DRAPERY | LENGTH OF DRAPERY | SIZE OF LINER | | | Pair | Up to 50" | 63" | 54" x 60" | Up to 50" | 84" | 54" x 80" | 51" to 75" | 84" | 80" x 80" | | | Single Panel | Up to 100" | 84" | 105" x 80" (patio)
